From the Field to Family-Run
Chris began his electrical career as an electrician’s mate in the U.S. Coast Guard before completing his apprenticeship and spending more than 20 years in commercial and industrial electrical work, including overseeing complex multi trade projects for a large general contractor.
After years in the field, clients began requesting him directly, which led him to found Cougar Electric with several longtime crew members who remain part of the team today.
Cougar Electric is a family run company.
Chris leads a growing crew of 13 highly trained electricians while his wife Rae manages administration and operations.
Over the course of his career, Chris and his team have completed more than 15,000 projects with a spotless safety record.
The company specializes in demanding commercial and industrial work, including emergency plant shutdowns and large scale electrical repairs, and is known for reliability, discipline, and high standards.
